Why Disney Plus Is Favorite Stories Destination

Disney Plus is your destination for favorite stories from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and beyond! Stream new releases, timeless classics and exclusive Originals in HD or 4K quality.

Amazon Video also boasts an ever-increasing library of TV shows that are family-oriented; however, some more mature titles such as Loki and The Mandalorian demonstrate it is much more than a childish platform.

Movies

Disney Plus boasts one of the most diverse movie libraries on streaming services thanks to a strong mix of legacy content and original films, such as Harrison Ford reviving Indiana Jones in a new series and Zac Efron starring in his first film since High School Musical; plus many Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic titles.

User interface of www.disneyplus.com login/begin is similar to Netflix in that a carousel of featured content sits atop the screen, with shortcuts for its six major brands such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic arranged below it. Overall it’s straightforward and most will quickly feel at home using it.

There’s a vast collection of Disney and Pixar animated films here, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Lion King and Frozen. Nearly all Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies can be found here as well as 20th Century Fox hits such as Mrs Doubtfire and X-Men: Days of Future Past from 20th Century Fox. Meghan Markle provides narration for her series about elephant migration as well as a documentary on Idina Menzel – not forgetting her latest performance on Broadway!

TV Shows

Disney Plus is one of the world’s premier streaming services and with good reason: not only can it offer classic Disney animation and current live-action films, but also an ever-increasing roster of exclusive TV series from Disney, Pixar, National Geographic, Marvel Star Wars 20th Century Fox!

Initial offerings on the service made quite an impactful debut, including Star Wars original series featuring Yoda (still my favorite in the franchise) and Mandalorian spin-off featuring Jabba the Hutt’s assassin; WandaVision and She-Hulk for Marvel fans, plus more grounded offerings like Big Shot, Doogie Kamealoha M.D and John Stamos’ sitcom targeted toward preteen viewers.

Noteworthy shows on Disney+ include Into The Deep, which follows whale researchers, and Secrets of the Elephants, an intimate look at these social animals. Also noteworthy is an upcoming comedy starring Derry Girls actress Siobhan McSweeney as well as docuseries about Ryan Reynolds and his football club – plus Daredevil has even moved over from Netflix!

Originals

Disney Plus provides access to an expansive library of original shows and movies, from Marvel, Star Wars and Muppet franchise installments, buzzy series from Anna Kendrick and Zoe Kravitz and even theatrical releases that have just left theaters.

Many Disney+ originals are exclusive to the streaming service; however, some previously-aired titles that now count as original Disney+ Originals due to higher budgets have also been marked so. For example, High School Musical 3 stands out as being both exclusive to and exclusive to Disney Channel Original Movies at once.

Fans of Marvel can experience new episodes of WandaVision, an MCU show which chronicles Vision’s relationship with Wanda Maximoff, on Disney+. Also available on this service are films such as The Bad Batch and new series like Into the Unknown which takes place in modern day and follows Nick Fury and Maria Hill as they work to foil an invasion by Skrulls.

Star Wars

Disney Plus provides fans of Star Wars with plenty to watch, from every film in the franchise plus additional ones. Their lineup of shows also provides plenty of Star Wars-related content: full original series, classic animated shows and National Geographic documentaries featuring some of its leading actors and actresses.

There’s also the new live-action series The Mandalorian, set between Episodes VI and VII. And be sure to read Boba Fett: The Book. In development are shows following Ahsoka Tano as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn!

Disney Plus provides access to most Marvel movies, though some may be excluded due to licensing agreements with other streaming services like Netflix. Some 20th Century Studios films were also removed but will return once their Pay 1 windows have expired.

National Geographic

Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s flagship direct-to-consumer streaming service, providing access to classic and new Disney films and shows as well as content from Pixar, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Star Wars and National Geographic studios owned by them. Available both domestically and in select international markets – making this an excellent option for any movie-buff looking for movie or television fix!

Disney Plus provides several National Geographic shows, such as free solo and Jane. Furthermore, they’ve collaborated with actor Jeff Goldblum on an educational reality series entitled the world according to Jeff which showcases modern-day marvels related to science and history that often go overlooked.

National Geographic is a non-profit organization that uses photography and quality writing to bridge cultures and educate people about our planet. While the Society has often been criticized for exoticizing other cultures or portraying them as primitive, in recent years they have worked to address such criticism. Their website serves as an excellent way for students to explore animals, states, countries, etc.
