When choosing the best shield, you have to choose between heavy ones that offer better defense and light ones that let you move faster but offer less defense.

Due to its high defense against physical strikes, the Shield of Thunder is one of the few light shields on this list. The moon is what the Shield of the Moonlit Emissary looks like because it was made by the God Menaslide. This shield does a good job of blocking physical hits and staying in place, but it’s not anything special in general. No matter what, because it’s so light, it can be a good option if you want to build just for speed.
The low weight makes it easy to carry around, and the average stats aren’t very amazing. You also don’t have to worry about how much it will affect your fitness.
Stomund’s Shield

In Lords of the Fallen, Stomund’s Shield is a good choice for a middle shield. It is a shield that blocks holy attacks very well and also does a good job of stopping physical, fire, and wither damage. Keep in mind that it’s a bit heavier than most medium shields in the game, which could make you move more slowly.
This shield isn’t very good when it’s first made, but if you level it up to the max, it can have some of the best defense stats and be a good choice against tough enemies and bosses.

The second and last light shield on this list is the Skinstealer. You can get this shield as a prize for beating the Skinstealer. It is made from enemy skins. The Shield of Thunder is a little lighter than this one, but this one protects against fire much better.
This shield protects against fire 64% of the time, and it can go up to 74% when improved. There are many better shields than the Skinstealer, and its other stats are what make it fall short. This shield is also very hard to get because the Skinstealer secondary boss only drops it very rarely.

It weighs 35 pounds, but the Ravager Greatshield is a pretty strong shield. The stats on this heavy shield are great in every way, making it one of the best-balanced in Lords of the Fallen. When you raise the shield to its highest level, all of its stats go well above 80. This makes it a great choice for mobs and bosses of that level.

Even though these numbers are great, the shield’s weight makes it sometimes useless in battle, where you need to be quick on your feet and able to move around quickly.

This shield is one of the best in the game, and you can get it by beating the Ruiner enemy. This shield works well with an Inferno build. To use it, you need to be level 10 in Inferno and 25 in Strength. It also works great against bosses that give fire damage and for getting around places like Calrath.
